FlexControl does not always load upon startup

Using a 6300 with SSDR version 1.4.16.142. About 50% of the time when I start SSDR, FlexControl does not start. Apparently the drivers do not load. If I close SSDR and restart it, then it usually works OK and continues to work the rest of the session. Any suggestions?

Are you starting SSDR from the Startup folder (ie starting it login)?

No, I'm using Win 8.1 and starting from the Start Screen.

A lot of us are seeing this, when you first get the  radio selection screen wait to see if the light on the flex control lights up, if not close it and start again.  That will let you know if the control is going to work or not before you select your radio and start up SSDR.

This is a known issue with SmartSDR v1.4.16 and is one we have been working on for the upcoming SmartSDR v1.5.0 release in September.  We have made numerous improvements to the FlexConrol logic and this issue has been resolved for our alpha/beta testers.
