Flex control

I'm on the list to be notified when the FlexControl is again available. I've read the section of the User Guide and notice that one of the options is Change Active Slice. I wanted to confirm that when this is invoked and you change to a different slice that all focus is then on that slice.

In other words, the selected slice has transmit control and is the only slice being heard. Can those with experience with the control confirm?

Thanks,

Jim

The only thing change active slice does is change which slice you are controlling. It does not control changing transmit slice and does not make it so it is the only one you are hearing. I use FRStack to have it automatically switch transmit also.

FRStack really is the bomb. Check it out.

Thanks for the replies, I have frstack and have it adjusted so when slice is selected, it is tx active and only slice being heard. Curious that ssdr doesn't have that behavior as default or at least, an option.

Also, the user guide shows mode above aux 1 button and on/off over aux 2 and toggle over aux 3....what is the significance of this?

    Thanks for your help.
