Flex Control Operations

The answer may be in a prior post, but I read through a number of them and didn't see what I was looking for.

Flex control - when used just to tune the frequency at times it works fine...smooth linear tuning.  I've seen the issue where you turn quickly, as you would in a "legacy radio" to get to a station and the flex control goes way past.  The speed of turning is results in faster tuning so one gets over shoot.  Tune very slowly, and you get nice linear tuning.  However there are times when I tune slowly and the control still takes off, turn 1/2 turn and whizzzzzzzz down the band/up the band the receiver slice goes.  I've experiemented with the "step" function but doesn't seem to result in consistent results.

What are the settings, and where, for the most consistent performance like an old fashion radio knob?  I understand the aux 1 & 2, for xit/rit, volume, etc.  I suspect it's a simple fix.

thanks

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
