Flex 6500 in 50 Mhz? Hi folks I'm trying to change my platform to Flex 7500, my main activity is concentrated in 50 Mhz, which can give me an opinion about it? the receiver is good in 6m with weak signals? greetings and thanks 73s Javi LU5FF

The FLEX-6500 receiver is excellent good on 6m (50 MHz).  I worked EA8DBM (IL18) from FM05 and had no problem hearing him when his signal was 54 with a lot of QRN.

Receiver noise figure has never been a limiting factor on six meters at my location. It seems to be pretty sensitive here, and noise always rises when the antenna is switched inline, indicating that it is more than adequate. That may change with a new antenna and noise reduction at my QTH, but I doubt it.

Add another "very satisfied" vote. 50 MHz performance is very good. As with Ken, my limiting noise is external.
