Flex 5K, no waterfall display at all.

Greetings
I am using a Flex 5KA running 2.8.0 software and all has been running smoothly until a few days ago when I noticed the Panafall display was missing the Waterfall. No amount of adjusting or factory default setting has been able to retrieve this function. I recently had to replace the IC-27 chip which controls linear amplifier keying, and since then Waterfall has been inoperative, is my best guess as to what may have caused the problem. Does anyone have a clue as to what may be the problem?
Thank You,
Billy N6YW

Try a lower sampling rate.  If that helps, then it may be an issue with the firewire cable.

Thank you. I tried as you suggested and no change. It's as if the waterfall function is turned off entirely and nothing I have tried so far has worked. I am feeling like it's something at the board
level, if that's possible. I am curious if IC27 has anything remotely to do with it. I wouldn't think
so seeing how it's job is for switching external devices like linear amplifiers. I had to replace the IC because it failed and quite a task it is even for an experienced repair tech like me.
    Anyway, thanks again.

    I found the FIX!!!
I exported my current database and reinstalled the KE9NS version 2.8.0 software, and updated my firmware. Bingo, Waterfall has returned.
    Whew!
