Flex 5000A Frwd Pwr reads ZERO when Tx

When 5000A is set for 100 drive and connected to the AT4K tuner I get a 0 watt Frwd Pwr reading on the Flex and 50 watts on the  tuner at 1:1 SWR on 20m.  Would this be considered normal?

That is what you might see if the meter is set to REV power when transmitting. I have had that happen to me after I have checked reverse power and not set it back to FWD during the transmission I was checking.

I agree Jon, however the meter is set to Fwd. Ran some tests with dummy load directly connected to Flex. Drive set to 100 and yelled into mic.....got 0w Fwd. reading. However with Flex connected to tuner/wire antenna I am able to work YB8ZL, 8300 m away on 20m.  Don't think my Flex meter is working and I don't trust the Fwd meter on the tuner.

Try resetting  the database, or reinstall the program.  Sometimes any software will "glitch" or get corrupted for unknown reasons.

Thanks Ken for your input.  I reinstalled the program and no joy yet.  Time for a trouble ticket.
