FLDIGI, DXCluster with Azimuth and Country Listings?

My friend Janny ON5PO asked it anyone had any idea how to use FLDIGI with a DXCluster

AND

have the DXCluster report both the Azimuth and Country listing of the DX Station?

Yes we know about

http://www.n2amg.com/software/fldigi-dx-cluster/

But it does not display Azimuth and Name of Country

I suppose Janny could run HRD Logbook with Spots which gives both Azimuth and Country but the preference  is to have it integrated with FLDIGI

DXLabs SpotCollector shows the information Janny wants and Rick N2AMG has written a SpotCollector-FLDIGI bridge. I've used it and it works as advertised:

    http://www.n2amg.com/software/fldigi-dxlabs-gateway/

Rick monitors the DXLabs and the FLDIGI reflectors, and will can help Janny if he runs into any issues.

Hello Sergey,  the value azimuth (bearing, is not good, I placed my grid jo20sn in map setup  well
    he/it gives me for 4w/pe7t 324°/144°, I should have + / - 40°
    or I must correct
it is the bearing of the spoter, not, in relation to mine
    thank you
    on5po, Janny

    Hi Sergey..

I just checked and the bearing is indicating correctly. The calculation for setting the bearing to the station is the exact calculation that is used in Logger32. Are you sure you are setting your latitude and Longitude correctly. South and East numbers need to be entered as negative numbers. I also just switched the map in Logger32 to show the compass heading on the map and it is correctly pointing to the correct bearing on the compass head. If you have any other questions please write away..

Actually after looking at this I do see an issue. I put in your Grid and it gives me your location. But the numbers in the bearing become backwards. Where the short path is on the right and the long path is on the left. I will correct this but its going to be a little bit. Busy at work and I need to familiarize myself with my code again. I have not worked on this code in 2 years..

I have just posted an update on my website for the FldigiDXCluster Software application. This update fixes:
    1. The calculation for calculating the Short path and Long path bearing has been corrected.
    2. When you changed your latitude and longitude the change was not reflected in the calculation. You not need to restart the program after changing these settings.
    3. The country Name is not displayed in the mouseover information for spots on the map and is also added to a new column in the Spots Grid.

To install the update download the update file and unzip the file over your currently installed FldigiDXCluster files.
