Flat line Panadaptor on 40m

Flex 6700 Smart SDR 1.1.3. Running one slice only on say 160 or 80m, when you change band to 40m the RX signals disappear and the panadaptor shows a flat line at -127dB.
If you open another slice on 40m it all recovers and you can then close the new slice or the original one and  operation is normal again on 40m. I have had this issue for some time now and have done my best to illiminate the possibility of this being an issue related to items connected with the 6700 or its software. Any ideas ??

Have you tried switching the RX antenna back and forth?

    Hello Robert

Yes when you switch from the default ANT1 thro ANT2, RXA RXB and XVTR, it does recover.

Is this proceedure in the manual??? or is it a fault.

    Thanks for the input

    Hello Peter,

By any chance do you have different preamp settings for the antennas you are switching? I.E. Main Ant1 as opposed to the RX1 antenna?   Persistence does not seem to always save the preamp settings when switching among various antenna ports yet.

    Regards,

    Hello Larry

My requirements are fairly simple, just Ant1 only with the normal random variation of pre amp settings as conditions dictate.
This issue is no big deal, but I thought it should be reported.
Perhaps it will correct itself in the next software release.

    Kind regards
