Fixing Typos Using CWX in Live Mode

Using a new 6700 with the latest version SmartSDR. When rag chewing with CWX Live and typing ahead of whats being transmitted, I sometimes make a TYPO and want to Backspace to fix one or two characters. When I press the Backspace key it stops all outgoing CW even is it is several sentences back in the buffer memory. Being a new owner, I am not sure if this is normal by design, a sofware bug, or a problem with my setup. Is this behavior unique to my staton? Any feedback welcome. Thanks in advance.

This issue has been addressed in the current code we are working on and has been tested by our alpha team.  It will be included in SmartSDR v2.x.  Since we have not determined what changes will be included in a SmartSDR 1.x bug release, I can't speculate if or when this particular code change will be included.  This isn't a "no", it is a TBD.
