FELD ****

I am using HRD for my digital modes on FLEX 6300.  No problems with PSK31, Contesti, Olivia, and RTTY.  However, with FELD ****, I am getting little or no output.  Pass band is set the same as with the other digital modes. Furthermore, when I look at the HRD waterfall, it seems like I am transmitting 2KC, or more, up from the frequency indicated on Slice A.  Any thoughts?

Will look later in the Holiday weekend.  Had Feldhell running but not with HRD.  Guessing there is a configuration tweak to do somewhere, and will see if mine does the same.

    Mark,
I'm still using the free version of HRD.  I just got on 20m fired it up and all works as expected.  I get about 80w out when I have the RF Power on the Flex 6700 set to100.  I have a digital profile set for Low Cut of 0 and High Cut of 3000 that I use for all digital modes.  Sometimes I narrow it down manually under the DIGU dropdown if there is some QRM....
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you troubleshoot.

    Norm,

I also use the free version of HRD.  My settings were the same as yours.  On the HRD waterfall, my outgoing signal was 2kc up from the frequency on the 6300's Slice.  Weird.  Actually, this was my first attempt at using FELD **** with the Flex.  Like I said I have no problems with RTTY, Olivia, Contesti or any of the PSK modes on HRD.  I thought it might be the pass band was too narrow but the situation was not corrected when I widened it.  I will keep tinkering.

    Mark,

I just checked it again.  When I select FELD ****, I place the xmt within HRD right at 1500 - the center of the waterfall. When I hit transmit, the transmitted signal appears smack in the center of the slice I have open on SSDR.   Make sure you have DIGU selected and that under the DIGU tab, you have 3K selected. Check that you don't have XIT active.  I'd also start out with only a single panadapter and single slice.  If your still having trouble, maybe backup or export you profiles, do a reset by pressing the OK button while you turn on the Flex.  After it boots up and your in, give it a try.  You can import your profiles after you give it a try to make sure there isn't anything in them that is mucking things up.

Let me know how it goes!

    Norm,

Just turned it on and ran it, for giggles, and lo and behold...all is well.  Normal RF output with the slice frequency in sync with the HRD frequency.  100 watts output on the meter.  Once again...weird.  I made no adjustments except, maybe, the reboot?  Merry Christmas.

    Thanks for your help.

Glad to hear your up and running Mark.  When I'm on any of the digital modes I tend to bounce around on either PSK, Olivia, Contestia or MFSK.   Lately I've been playing on CW trying to improve my poor CW skills.  I'll keep a watch out for you!

I am on all of those modes regularly.   Alas, an attic antenna... It must be that time of year but I am also gravitating back to getting the hang of CW.  I was getting Ok, with it, same time last year but I got a little frustrated and put it down.   Finally, I configured the FLEX 3000, at the time, to do it and then I upgraded.  Just configured my 6300 to work with my BENCHER paddle.  One thing I notice, right away, is the responsiveness of the 6300, in CW, is way better than the 3000.
