Two weeks ago, my house received a lightning strike, all 3 radios (one Flex 6500) were damaged. I contacted Flex (I live in Austin) and advised that my 6500 would not power on. Dudley arranged for me to drop it by Flex Radio where I told Matt I need a radio in service for my MARS obligations and was willing to buy a new one if the repair was going to be an extended time. He advised to wait and let service check it out. 24 hours later they had repaired the unit for $102.00!
Many business today would have just sold me a new unit for $5,000.00, Flex is an ethical company concerned about the customer. That is why I always recommend Flex to new HF operators (along with its superior performance and interface).
I has been 2 weeks now it the radio is performing well.

Great customer service has always been one of the strong points of Flex. Besides great radios, that's why I am on my third Flex radio.0
