Has there been any change to how we hear our TX audio EQ, post or pre?

No, there has been no change.  And none is planned for the near future.  We do not pass the MON signal through the EQ filter bank to minimize latency so you hear transmitted audio in as close to real-time as possible.

If you want to test your audio to hear exactly what it sounds like, either

1) use the inboard record and playback, or
2) use the full duplex monitoring technique. (But you must transmit into XVTR port, or use very low power, and listen on a different antenna.). This is good for testing, but you cannot monitor full time this way.

The delay you hear is just about the same delay you would hear if they ported the MON through the filter, PROC, and RX EQ.
