Effective gain on waterfall changes between TX and RX

I am using a Flex-6300 and SmartSDR v1.3.8. "Show TX in waterfall" is enabled.

In another thread, Steve, N5AC, said "When the switch is enabled, we reduce the power spectrum in the in waterfall (since you are so much louder than what you're listening to).  The results in a black background with only your signal visible while you transmit."

However this reduction in the power spectrum in the waterfall appears to be applied to all waterfalls, not just the TX waterfall. See an annotated screen grab at:

While the reduction in the power spectrum in the TX waterfall is appropriate, the reduction in the RX waterfall makes the receive signal hard to see while transmitting. Note: I have enhanced the receive waterfall while transmitting in the referenced screen grab. Before the enhancement, the receive signal is barely visible..

I believe the reduction in the power spectrum should be applied only to the waterfall associated with the TX panadapter and not the RX panadapter. The displayed power spectrum in the RX panadapter is not affected, just the associated waterfall during transmit.
