Does the latest version of SSDR allow the creation of .wav files of both sides of a QSO like PSDR does? (called "post processing" in PSDR)

Does the latest version of SSDR allow the creation of .wav files of both sides of a QSO like PSDR does? I would like to purchase a 6500 and would like to be able to make .wav files and move them to a thumb drive for later playback on a PC or Apple. I currently use what is known as "post processing" to do this on a Flex 3000. Thanks for your response. de Bill, AD5EW

The current version of SmartSDR allows for Quick record and playback.  If you want to save an audio recording, you will need to use a third-party application using the DAX channel to route the audio to it.

Thank you for your response, Tim. OK on the quick record but I must say that sounds like an awkward and inefficient way to save and transport a file. Certainly not as convenient as my Flex-3000. Will you be offering that ability soon so I can make a transition to the Flex-6500 with a feature that I personally thought was very good on my current Flex 3000?

I can tell you that the feature is in our enhancement database, but I am prohibited from commenting or speculating on the inclusion of features in upcoming versions of our software products if they are not going to be imminently available.  Sorry.
