Does DDUtil talk directly to the Flex 6500 using API's or does it communicate thru the CAT System?

Still learning all the software pieces. I found that I can run DDUtil and read Flex 6500 Temperature and Voltage, and other parameters,  with out loading CAT when I installed the latest version of SDRSmart vs 1.10.16. My guess is that I can add a second FlexControl running under DDUtil and control the Flex 6500 with out having to load the CAT drivers.

Does this make sense?

Tnx,
Tom.......

DDUtil uses the FlexLib API and it also uses SSDR Cat (TCP/IP port) at times depending on what commands/macros are being executed from DDUtil. So yes, Cat needs to be running.

I suggest DDUtil questions be sent to the DDUtil Yahoo group and not the Flex Community as I don't always monitor here.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
