Or, is there a way to key SSDR in CW with N1MM without using external hardware?

Thanks,   Dan

Check out this thread from last year:  https://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/how-to-setup-n1mm-for-keying-the-flex-6x00-via-cwx

My experience was this works great except the ESC key to stop sending a macro (if you fat-finger a function key) doesn't work.  Probably because the command is getting sent at a high baud rate and then getting buffered somewhere in the digital chain.

My solution was to outboard a K1EL WinKeyer on a (remote) serial port.  Not particularly elegant, but it works flawlessly.  The only downside of this solution is REMOTE audio doesn't carry keyed CW sidetone, so you need to listen on one of the analog audio ports.

If anyone has a solution to getting the ESC key to work I'd love to hear it.  Would also be nice if there were an option to turn on CW sidetone for remote.  It may not work well for hand keying, but it should work fine with a remote WinKeyer.
