I have a 6400 reserved in the 2018 run, meanwhile, I am rebuilding the op desk. The spec sheet says 6.74" high, with feet, but I'm can only presume that the mechanical design is completed and agrees with the datasheet. Can anyone confirm if this dimension is still correct?

Since we're on the subject what side(s) need to be left open for cooling ventilation in an enclosed space like Lionel described?
Rear I suppose is always a given, also is there a blower in these units?
Thanks...

At least an inch or two. Yes, there is a single large fan for air flow through the unit - front to back.1

Tim, is this non M radios "front to back"?
I thought the M radios had a fan on the sides?

Thanks Tim.

Rich - all 6400 and 6600s have just a single large fan for cooling. You may be confusing it with the early prototypes.1
