While playing with a new computer setup this week, I started to have several strange malfunctions. Total radio Factory Default reboot of my 6500 didn't solve them and had me scratching my head. The problems involved the PTT via serial port not keying the rig and DAX not sending audio to and from outboard programs, even when the meters in the DAX control panel said the audio was registering at full levels. After much head scratching, I realized that I had not closed and reopened both DAX and CAT after doing a factory reset of the 6500. This solved the problem. Another time, I had to completely delete and reinstall both DAX and CAT. So if you are having strange things happen.... remember these simple steps, and do them quickly before you lose too much hair. 73 de Ken - NM9P

I've seen the situation where I needed to close and restart DAX to get the receive audio going to a third party program. Thanks for sharing the issue. I still don't know the exact sequence of events before the audio failure, but I'll look more closely. In my case it seems to occur before I've made a first audio connection. [using Win XP]

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
