DAX OK until rig boots...?

Before I go through the uninstall / re-install DAX drivers procedure, I wanted to check it out here first.

I first Start up Computer (Win 7).

Start up DAX 1.10.8. It all looks good. No error screens, no driver error messages.

Turn on 6300... As soon as the rig is booted, I get the DAX Driver Error Message, and driver error in listed in the two slices.

This is all before I start up the SmartSDR program.

If it makes a difference, The driver error message only shows in the two RX slices, not in TX or MIC sections.

Before I try the un/re install procedure, am I missing something in my boot up order?

Bill, no your not but I wouldn't completely uninstall reinstall just yet.  Try just reinstalling the drivers first..

    C:Program FilesFlexRadio SystemsSmartSDR Beta_v1.10.864-bit DriversTXAudio_DAX
    C:Program FilesFlexRadio SystemsSmartSDR Beta_v1.10.864-bit DriversRXAudio_DAX
    C:Program FilesFlexRadio SystemsSmartSDR Beta_v1.10.864-bit DriversMICAudio_DAX
    C:Program FilesFlexRadio SystemsSmartSDR Beta_v1.10.864-bit DriversIQ_DAX

In each directory you will see a XXXXXXXX_install.bat  you will want to run this from a command line as root so that you can see if one fails, otherwise the screen will go by so fast you wont see if there is an issue.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the detailed instructions! I did it, and it went well, but still ended up with the same results.
While I was in the C:program filesFlexRadio Systems directory, I also deleted the DAX files from older versions just to be safe.
I then went and installed the above 4 DAX drivers in the SmartSRD Beta _v1.10.864-bit Drivers area, but still the same results.

Did you see any errors when you ran the install.bat files?
Another trick I've learned is uninstall the same way by hand first, do a cleanup in the Device Manager (be sure to show hidden devices), reboot the system, then attempt the install by hand again..

There is a document about this procedure in the support area: https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204017069-How-to-Manually-Re-Install-DAX-Drivers

    Good luck
