I'm running Windows 10 64 bit and after a windows 10 update DAX came up with a error.
I fixed the problem.
Go to search and type in CMD and run as Administrator. Uninstall the DAX drivers and install them. then reboot. It fixed my DAX problem

cd \Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\SmartSDR v2.0.17\64-bit Drivers\IQ_DAX

cd \Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\SmartSDR v2.0.17\64-bit Drivers\RXAudio_DAX

SmartSDR_RX_DAX_uninstall.bat

SmartSDR_RX_DAX_install.bat

cd \Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\SmartSDR v2.0.17\64-bit Drivers\TXAudio_DAX

SmartSDR_TX_DAX_uninstall.bat

SmartSDR_TX_DAX_install.bat

cd \Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\SmartSDR v2.0.17\64-bit Drivers\MICAudio_DAX

SmartSDR_MICAUDIO_DAX_uninstall.bat

SmartSDR_MICAUDIO_DAX_install.bat

the problem was to put the correct SmartSDR V number in.

In the procedure that describes doing this process, https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204017069-How-to-Manually-Re-Install-DAX-Drivers

It states...

This procedure assumes you are running on a 64-bit operating system.  If you are using a 32-bit version of Windows, you will need to change the directory path to replace 64-bit Drivers with 32-bit Drivers.

In the example below SmartSDR is version 1.6.21 is used.  Make certain you are running this procedure from the latest SmartSDR for Windows application folder installed on your PC.
