Does anyone have experience with the Palstar AT-Auto using the CX-Auto antenna switcher?
I am using the AT-Auto with DDutil now and it works great. There is a setup for the CX-Auto in DDutil. I am not sure how it will control all 8 antenna ports and how the Flex can control any of it..If anyone has this combo I would appreciate your input.

Thank you,

I only have limited experience with Palstar HF-Auto... ddutil and Automatic Band Following should select the correct antenna on the CX-Auto for the band selected... http://k5fr.com/DDUtilV3wiki/index.php?title=CX-Auto Pressing Tune on the radio will instruct the Palstar HF-Auto to recall tune memory or Tune manually against the Antenna connected.

From all indications the Palstar AT-Auto is the same as the Kessler AT-Auto so likely the same warning/configuration is required... DO NOT USE AUTOMATIC BAND FOLLOWING...
    • See the CX-Auto owners manual for setting up the AT-Auto tuner to control the CX-Auto antenna switch.
      • Pay particular attention to operating manual section 1.3.2.11, configuring the CI-V Tx Enable internal jumper. It must be shorted or the AT-Auto will not control the CX-Auto switch.
Caution! If you setup the AT-Auto to control the CX-Auto do *NOT* use the DDUtil band following feature also or unexpected results can/will occur. You can only use one or the other for band following, not both. However, you can use the macro or manual CX-Auto features in DDUtil to over-ride the AT-Auto setting of the CX-Auto switch. Like switching from one antenna to another to compare signal strength.
