Error message box at startup CTASIO. PowerSDR v2.7.2, when I enable a VAC with standard defaults I get this message on startup the error box says "there are no creative audio products ...". The VAC works and I get audio routed to the PC's audio out. I am running Vista with all the updates. Clicking ok in the error block allows proper operation but it doesn't happen on other systems and it is a pain in the butt.

Windows only allows one ASIO audio driver to be loaded at one time. Looks like at one time you had a Creative Audio sound card with an ASIO diver loaded and now it is complaining. This happens if the CA was not fully unloaded.

Try this:

Go to C:\windows\system32
Look for ctasio.dll
rename it to ctasio.dll.old
Restart windows
