Hello FRS and esteemed customers; I often run with 3 or 4 slices open and routinely switch TX from one to another to select the correct antenna and listen on that slice. It has been a tedious nuisance to have to mute the current slice and then un-mute the TX slice every time I move around....
Also, when I'm chasing DX and have my logging program and spotting up and click on a spot it would be nice to have the "A" Slice automatically un-mute and the others mute; "A" slice already goes to TX so un-muting could be easily added...
I got the idea from SDR-Bridge which has that mode and I love it....
When running split on the same slice or running A/B slice in separate panadapter windows, this idea would work but when running an RX and TX slice in the same panadapter I think this mode would not work because the TX slice, in my case, would be muted and the RX slice would be un-muted to listen to the DX station.
I would appreciate if other FRS customer would weigh in on this topic. I hope I'm not the only one interested in this idea....
