A question for the contesters, I operated in the IARU contest (it was hard work from down here with condx marginal and most signals in the 3-5 range, and very very few European stations.
My question is, is there a good way to input the callsign in an SSB contest, especially as my typing is quite slow. In an RTTY contest it is easy,as N1MM brings up the callsign, and a click and it is input.
The above may seem an odd question as this was my first go in an SSB contest , I normally operste RTTY contests.

Manually unless you use the bandmap feature found on many logging programs. By double clicking the spot on the bandmap, the logger should prefill the callsign of the spot. If you are calling cq, you just have to do it manually unless a voice recognition software could work ? I too have trouble with a keyboard.
