I have a 6500 and a 6700 each running to a different computer,  but My 6700 has to go back to Flex for service, with 2 problems freq shift and 20m not receiving.
So I want to use my 6500 on the computer that the 6700 was connected to, How do I swap the IP addresses so the 6500 shows up on the screens where the 6700 was.?
Advice please.
Thanks Ross
ps: the above is probably a naive question but I couldn't think of a way to change the IP addresses

Double check the %appdata%\FlexRadio Systems\ folder for a file called filter.txt. If it exists, delete it.

Try connecting the radio directly to the PC with a known good Ethernet cable then turn both on. Open a command prompt window and type IPCONFIG . It should show a 169.254.x.x address. See if the radio and PC can communicate. If so, try downgrading then upgrading the radio. There was an issue way back where the radio could get stuck with a 169/254/x/x address and wouldn't work on a network. That was fixed a while ago.

If the direct connection does not work try performing a factory reset of the radio. Remove power then hold the power button while plugging in the power. Continue to held the power button until the countdown timer expires.

If the direct connection works but it still doesn't work on the network then you have an issue with your network (bad Ethernet cable? Check the Ethernet port on both the PC and radio to see if the link light is on and the activity light is blinking.

If all this does not work then open a help desk ticket.
