Congratulations the Entire Flex Team on the Release of 2.x

Congratulations to the entire team that has been working on the release of 2.x.  Anyone who has worked in a company on a major software or hardware release understands the pressure, limited resources and difficulty in making something like this happen. Way to go !

Not everyone will be happy with either the new model or even the new bugs and bumps in the road. But, I encourage each of us to show some grace and realize everyone at Flex is simply trying to produce something they can be proud of and they would want to use themselves.

As with anything human this new shift in direction, 2.x will not be perfect, but lets hope this brings us all more enjoyment from a hobby which we all have a great deal of passion.

I'm upset that this was released while I am on vacation instead of before, so I could test it out on my trip! Ha-ha, just kidding - thanks everyone involved, both inside and outside Flex that came together to make V2.0 happen. I'm new to the Flexfamily, and watching the reactions play out in the Flex community over the announcement, delay, and today's release has been a real education - and I was glad to see everyone from Flex handle themselves so professionally and pull together to make sure Flex shipped no software before it's time. Thanks.

What is the cost for V2?  I hate this **** tactic of having to get all the way to the shopping cart to learn the cost.

Mazel Tov to the FlexRadio team! I've been a customer for a long time now, the contented owner now of both a legacy 1500 and a new-ish 6700! I am really looking forward to installing 2.0. I've been using other folks' stations via RemoteHams & can't wait to operate my own station from wherever my travels take me! My Maestro has been on order for a while but I'm patiently waiting because I know they are constantly improving their products. 73 DE N2GJ

The price has been mentioned for at least the past year, not only on this community but on Facebook and other places. I am truly offended to see this product offering referred to as "****," as if the company was pulling a "bait and switch" tactic. I think they are owed an apology, don't you, Eric? Wow!

$199.00,  Well that's $199.00 I'll be putting towards a Anan 8000 and look for this Flex 6500 to be put up for sale online soon, and to think I was ready to reserve a 6600M.....

Good Luck to you Mike. I hope you find what you want, however unlikely that is, and I'll be looking for your 6500 to come up and see whether I am willing to buy it from you

And so it Starts !   How long did that take, an hour ?

    EXPECTATION, EXPECTATION, EXPECTATION

If anyone is expecting 2.x to be nirvana and have every feature you ever wanted, get ready to be disappointed. People are putting too much into this release. Will it have new features, Yes. Will it be for everyone, No.

Come on guys, be realistic. This is the start of a brand new code base and I know must have been a major undertaking. But we are just opening the door and I suspect the new code base will allow for more features that were not possible with the 1.x code.

Take a breath, give these guys some time.
