Computer losing Flex Controls

This is a new one for me.  I recently had a computer crash and after getting it back running, I'm experiencing the loss of both Flex Control knobs after the computer has been on overnight or for an extended time.  SSDR stays working and I can click change frequency but the knobs are dead. Powering the computer down and back up solves the problem, but I'm at a loss for what's causing it.  I'm pretty sure it's not a Flex problem, but something that's gotten misset in the computer.  Anyone got any ideas for what I should look for?  This is a Win10 Home installation.

Thanks, Tim.  I already had the power plan set to high performance, but I'd missed the USB settings and had somehow gotten set to 'enabled'.

If that doesn't work, open a HelpDesk ticket so we can investigate further.
