Start everything up, radio and SmartSDR, after connecting click Settings across the top of SmartSDR, click Radio Settings, then second tab is Radio.... there is a Big Green button there next to Region that says "Change"  click it... it will ask you for a file for your region.. it needs a "turf" file for your region

What are you looking to do?  If you are truly in a region other then the one there you will need to contact Support and open a ticket for a corrected file for your region.

    Good Luck,

    David

When I contacted support for a backup TURF file, they said I should contact my retailer. I wonder where that leaves the 2nd or 3rd owner of a rig.

Guy - in the UK it is the responsibility of the distributor to apply the appropriate TURF so that the radio conforms to harmonized CE.  If they purchase the radio used and need a different TURF, all they have to do is submit a HelpDesk ticket.

Jean - I responded to both of your HelpDesk tickets this morning at 7:30a CT.  Canada and the US use the same TURF file since their transmit allocations are the same.

US and Canada use the same TURF file, so there is't one specifically from Canada.  You have the correct TURF file already.
