Dear Flex:

Your newest version, v1.4.16, with SmartCAT & DAX, v1.4.16, is now working with all of my computers!  Great job, Flex!  I am so pleased!  The more recent versions of SmartSDR, SmartCAT, and DAX would cause SmartSDR to crash on each and every one of my computers within several seconds.  I had to make all sorts of separate modifications to each of my computers individually to get it all to work including (1) Using the latest version of SmartSDR with previous versions of Dax and SmartCAT; (2) Disabling and removing various software applications including Moxa DPort Administrator Serial Port Redirecting software, etc.; and (3) Modifying various Windows-7 processes & services to prevent the crashes and allow for everything to work and play nicely together.  I have a fairly substantial LAN with two Dell Power Edge servers, three "Flex Ready computers from Abroham Neal of various ages; and several other i7-Vaio laptop computers (I often work from home and must have connectivity with various Electronic Medical Records Systems simultaneously which explains the rather large LAN, plus I am a geek.).  The newest versions of SmartSDR, SmartCAT, & DAX, v1.4.16, have required NO modifications what-so-ever!  Everything works at initial installation!  The only thing that I have found (nothing new) is that HRD-VI only works if "PowerSDR" is chosen instead of their "SmartSDR" rig control software.

Thank you so much Flex!  You really hit it out of the park this time - Universal success on each and every one of my varied computers without modification required!
