can't send cw via WinWarbler

Having a bit of trouble getting the 6K to key and send cw from WinWarbler like I do with my  5K.
I just can't key the rig.  Can't key the rig in any mode.

Because I use WinWarbler and N1MM which only accept low com ports, I normally use DDuT and VSPmanager created com ports.
Works perfectly in both programs with my 5K
Been at it for 3 days and can't seem to find the secret.

I can take the WORKING ptt cable out of the 5K and plug it into the 6K's ptt jack and no joy.

funny part is when I first got the rig, I plugged a straight key into the jack and made a few cw qsos.
But a very weeny CVA left my right hand a tad shaky, so it's got to be machine code or the rig will just sit collecting dust.

But I have been playing with the waterfall. Admitedley I wasn't excited about it and would have preferred CWX, but after the last few days, I really see it's usefulness putting my xmitted signal right on top of the last worked station.

Hope I don't have to wait for CWX to finally get here...

If anyone has ideas, email me at of cluttering up the chat room.

WinWarbler keys CW using the COM port.  Unfortunately PTT will trigger through the COM pin (DTR/RTS) but signaling the CW defined pin does not generate RF.

I'm still looking for the answer for "Is this a bug or when will the feature be available?"  Since it is different than CWX where text is sent to the Flex I don't know if it is on the roadmap for CWX either.

It isn't a bug, as the SmartSDR does not support that feature. Unfortunately I can not speculate or commit to when that feature may be added to SmartSDR.
