Can I setup smartlink without a ptt

Can I setup smartlink without a ptt? i`m trying to register smartlink when hit register it asking me to press the ptt but i just use the mox  button or vox. is the anyway round this or have i got make up a wired ptt to register?

No.  You must have physical access to the radio to register it to an account.  Pressing a hardware PTT or taping the paddles will suffice for the registration process.  This is a security measure to prevent your radio from being hijacked.

You can also use your CW key.
