Can you be a bit more specific?

I could send you set up screen shots if your interested in the JT modes, or are you talking about logging software?

James, you'll find "tutorials" here and in the FlexRadio helpdesk.
And forget MultiPSK, it has the worst GUI I've ever seen...
HRD, WSJT-X, JTAlert-X, fldigi are more than capable.

I think it would be much more likely that the author of your 3rd party software would be a better source of instruction. If, in fact, it does support Flex they would know and advise.

If the particular 3rd party program you're interested in doesn't provide that sort of support then you should consider abandoning that software.

Expecting Flex to provide support for every add-on out there would sap resources better spent on further developing the radio.

This is not exactly correct. Flex supports the Kenwood CAT instruction set so anything that works with Kenwood should, work with Flex

Flexradio Zendesk at,
SmartSDR-Win Tips & Tricks From the Zendesk at,
Configuring WSJT-X and SmartSDR for Windows at,

Some of that stuff might be useful.

Although WSJT-X, is as much a moving target as SmartSDR is release wise.
