My M-Mic1 port no longer works. I'm wondering if plugging in an active Ethernet cable into the M-Mic1 can damage the unit?

I would think it could.  There is voltage present on the Ethernet cable coming from the switch.   Only the folks at Flex could tell you for sure.  With any luck, they have thought of this possibility and have built in circuits to safeguard the microphone port.  After all, it is very easy to accidentally plug the Ethernet cable into the wrong port.

Solved!! Bad mic!!

Steve at FlexRadio was at the IDXC in Visalia and together we verified the Maestro was fine, but the microphone was bad.

Team Flex are AWESOME!

BTW way... I saw WAN in operation at IDXC. Nice! Soon... Real soon...
