Boom mike headset

RadioSport makes the best quality headsets. Heil makes several lower quality cheaper ones. That said, I use a Logitech bluetooth headst with my iPad remote. Excellent reports.0

This is not a boom mic, but I use a hand held MH-67A8J on my flex1500 and get super reports. It was allegedly sold for the ft897d , but did not work on that, but worked on the flex. It was an ebay offer.

The Turtle Beach Ear Force Z60 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach-Ear-Force-Headphone/dp/B00I0S7JH6 are great, my boy uses them for music and gaming and they work very well, nicely made and offer USB or 3.5mm connectivity. And offers the ability to tailor audio to left or right or mixed allowing say a slice per ear or your TX in one and the DX in the other.
Well worth a few $.

I use a flightcom aviation headset with pc adapter. Works great, but probably overkill. I just like the rugged aviation headsets. https://www.flyelite.com/shop/aviation-headset-usb-adapter/

Jay,
The G930 looks like a really nice wireless headset with boom mic. Can you give us a little more feedback on how you are currently using it and what the audio quality coming from the microphone is like? I'm curious to know how it would sound on the 6000. I'm currently running a PR-40 direct connect via the BAL connection. For wireless, I've been running a Jabra headset for a while, but would really like to upgrade it to something better. I love wireless!!!

In preparation of 1.4 I chose this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EPAVKP0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 although it is USB, I liked the reviews... How ever my second choice was the logitech g930... My experience with wireless headsets are they are heavy and cause fatigue fairly fast for me.. so we are going to use the Razer
