Bluetooth on the Maestro

I know this comes up every few months, but boy I sure would like to see bluetooth on the maestro.  I think I'd probably own four of them if I could use a bluetooth headset.

That's all.

Regards,

Matt

    Hi Matt

The short story is no.  It is not a simple matter of turning it on.  It is some very complicated audio management.

Matt, Amazon has a variety  of BlueTooth adapters that work very well. I've been using the Avantree brand for about three years now with no problems. A lot of guys will tell you the latency is not good, I've never experienced it. Here's a link to the Amazon selection.

I think you'll like it.  Plug it in to the line out jack on the Maestro or the radio.

Bob, thank you but I’m really wanting something I can use for transmit and receive audio. If anyone knows of something like that I’d love to hear about it!

I believe this will doo the trick?  Looks like you would just connect to Line in and Mic 2, sync with bluetooth headset and you are set. You can use VOX or add you favorite PTT to key radio.
You can use a small piece of Velcro to stick BT unit to back of Maestro.

I have not tried this myself but it looks like it should work. The one thing that is not stated in the product info is if it’s Full Duplex, Can it transmit and receive at the same time? Well for $14 what the heck it’s worth a try.
