BHI DESKTOP DSP speaker problem

I have been using Bose Companion II Series III speakers, but I have just replaced them with the BHI DESKTOP DSP speaker.  For some reason, I'm getting no sound coming through the speaker and I can't figure out the problem.  I have it connected to my power supply, no problem, the LED light is on and I have the plug going right into the Powered speaker connection on the back of the Flexradio 6300. When I put it through Remote, I can hear the radio on my computer speaker, but cannot hear anything when Remote is off.  The only thing that I notice is that the plug is not as snug as the Bose plug, but otherwise, I'm puzzled.  Any suggestions?

Double check that you don't have the main speaker line muted.  (slider on top right of SSDR main window). I have sometimes had it muted when local, but unmuted when the "remote" button is active.  SSDR may remember the two settings separately.

Additionaly...Does the BHI speaker have a 1/8 inch stereo or mono plug?  If it is a mono plug, then it is shorting out the powered speaker output.

I think the BHI speakers have a 1/8 inch MONO plug.  It needs to be stereo.
