ATU Bypass Profile Issue

Using a 6700/Maestro combination most of the time.

I use global profiles for each band. On one band only, 20M, after recalling the profile, the ATU button is green, which I think indicates the ATU is active and has found a good match. I want it in the bypass mode, as I use an amp. If I put it in bypass mode (button unlit) and re-save the profiles (global, TX, mic), and recall the global 20M profile, the ATU button is still green.

On all other bands when I recall the respective profiles, it is unlit, confirming bypass mode.

Am I doing something wrong ...?

Might try right click on ATU button and left click on "reset ATU memories".
Hope this helps.

Yes, you were on to it, somehow the ATU memory was activated on 20m only. Had not used it for so long I forgot about it.
