are there servicable parts in the 6000?

I noticed the other day, and again just now there is a tick-tick-tick coming from the fan holes on the left side of the chassis when looking straight on. I'd say it sounds like one blade is striking something but this sound is fairly new. Also, as relates to the fan while others have said there's is whiisper quiet, that is not a term I'd use to describe mine.

Tim had also made the comment, not too long ago,  that I shouldn't be seeing more than 100w out on any band yet I do and that perhaps I should consider a trip to the shop.

Next question, do you guys ship empty 6000 containers, suitable for shipping back the radio with?

If the radio is putting out over 100W on all bands and it is greater than 110W, then I recommend opening a HelpDesk support ticket so we can investigate further.  This would be the first step in issuing you an RMA if the radio does indeed need to come in for service.

Yes, you can purchase a shipping carton for your FLEX SDRs.
