just cleaning some backup drives and I find:
on P: which is a stick drive a folder for SmartSDR v1.3.0

I can't see any reason that I would wish to fall back to that version.
I'd much rather use that space to save a copy of version 1.5.1
Anybody see a reason to continue and store-save it?

None what so ever. I routinely uninstall all previous version of SmartSDR before installing the latest production version.  Then if I have to revert back, I just install one of the previous versions.  It only takes a minute or two.  Also I never uninstall the DAX drivers unless it is required and if that is usually not the case.
