    Its almost certainly an Over the horizon radar.  Getting the sweep rate using Audacity or something similar can then help nail down the type.

    These have been observed in use from several part of far Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East.

    If you look for the IARU Region 1 Intruder report (published monthly in PDF), you will see reports of these inside the ham bands.  This one fortunately is outside!

    Thanks--certainly a powerful radar--at least it is outside the band.  If it was from Europe or the Middle East, it was coming in the back of my beam.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
