Another basic persistance question. Will the saved data be on the PC or the radio? If on the PC will we be able to save and load different profiles?

I would expect the radio settings and eq/mic to be saved on the radio so that you can use the same settings across multiple clients and multiple machines. I am sure that client specific settings will also be saved on the local machine. And then once DAX comes into play you have a whole other array of client specific settings to cater for which would to be saved locally on a client/pc by client/pc basis.

The data will be saved on the radio for now -- everything except things specifically related to the client such as window size/placement/etc. The idea here is that later when you may have a network device and a local LAN device, you can make a change and have it reflected both places.

We'll look into allowing you to move them around along with profiles in the Persistence roadmap item scheduled for later.
