Amplifiers - risk of hot switching

Apparently some radios (especally ICOM and some TENTec) have an unkey problem where the radio continues to put out power after the amplifier is unkeyed.  This can cause hot-switching of the amplifier relays when unkeying.  Do the new 6000 series transceivers exhibit this "unkeying" problem?

    Doug,

No they do not send RF after unkeying. I've confirmed this via a soope trace. Your amp will be safe.
