I received my 6600M yesterday.  It took only a few minutes to figure out the basics.  Most things on the front panel and in SSDR are intuitive.  It also took only about 10 minutes to configure it for digital and voice use (i.e. digital keyed from the PC, but voice input from the mic when the mic is keyed).  I operate MARS and this capability is required.

But the best part is the receiver.  I have several other high end SDR receivers.  They are much better than my previous Icom IC-7800.  I thought the 6600M would be on par with those SDRs.  However, it is MUCH, MUCH BETTER.

Waiting 9 months to get my Flex was hard (ok, VERY hard), but it was worth the wait.

Thanks, Flex for a GREAT radio!

Im sure you will love it David. I still remember my reaction when I plugged the antenna into my 6700 for the first time, nearly 4 years ago. Sensational was the only word I could think of to describe the receiver performance! Enjoy Best 73 Winston
