AK on FT8

I apologize for being a bit off topic, but the Flex Community might be able to assist me. I'm looking to make an FT8 contact on 160m to AK - the last state I need for 160m WAS. My 6500 has been doing an incredible job on 160m despite the fact that I'm 2 miles from a 50 kw AM broadcast station! Are there KL7's out there on 160m FT8 or can someone suggest anyone? Reached out to KL7SB, but his operating time is limited. Thanks

Robert,

PSKReporter was very helpful to me as I went for 8-band WAS a few year ago. Keep the time zone difference in mind as well and be aware that KL7s have to deal with Aurora which makes contacts to the east coast difficult.

Robert,

Some of the Alaska stations that I have worked include (none on 160):

KL2DV
KL2T
KL2ZZ
KL5E
KL7AIR
KL7J
KL7YK
KL8DX
NL7V
WL7BDO
WL7CG
WL7SJ
WL7X

Many of these contacts were on JT65 or JT9, but I bet they have moved to FT8 now. Perhaps an email to some (or all) of these stations could result in a schedule.

I have Splashtop running on my ipad and remotes into the pc in the shack. I keep the Radio audio muted in SmartSDR. Then i have JTAlert running so if an AK is decoded, it sounds an alert. Ive worked several of them, but have yet to have one confirm on LOTW. Even worked one at 1:30am CST this morning, here in IL. May have to mail cards i guess. But, this is an idea that may help you. I need them on 160 and 30 for WAS. Good luck!
