When working the salmon run today I opened a second and third panadapter but not additional slice receivers. On 10M I changed the preamp to +20. But the audio I heard from the slice on 20M increased in gain as well. It looks like changing the gain on one panadapter changes them all??? 73 Greg

Greg, WIth the 6500 you have but one SCU ( signal capture unit i.e. ADC ) that ALL panadapter and RX slices use. The Preamp is the antenna path before the SCU, therefore any change in PREAMP setting ( not AGC ) will effect all slices and panadpaters. ( the AGC-T contrrol is located on each RX slice control panel and only effects that slice.) If you have the 6700 that has two SCU then you have two preamps.. AL, K0VM
