I would like to thank everyone that posted with help with my problems with me getting disallusioned with my flex 6500'but I think it will be best that I wait for the next update witch I hope won't be long,as I feel if I sort it now I will need help again when 1.4 is released so I will be patient until then.thanks again tony

    I would advise the opposite. Get it sorted now and learn how things work then you will be better placed to deal with v1.4. At least make some progress so you will feel better.

    My last rig was an FT 200 and the configurability of modern rigs, especially the FR series, is mind-blowing. I have just scratched the surface of modern amateur radio (25yrs QRT) and it is both enjoyable and frustrating in equal measure. I'm having a great time taking things at my own speed. When I was last on the air it was SSB or CW. All the other modes required some dedication and major skills.

    I have many operating systems on each my computers and I have found that very handy for diagnostic purposes more times than I can recall. Sometimes it can be useful just to install a clean copy of windows and play with that. I can help with that (and anything else) if you are in easy range of Barnet, North London.

    BTW, when I first got my FR 6300 I thought I had made a big mistake. I have not and neither have you. Stay with it.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
