6700 Off For PEN - Back Up Flex-3000? Not So Bad!

Well, with a sad heart I boxed up the 6700 and sent it back to Austin yesterday.  Pretty painless given the emailed UPS label sent by Flex!  Anxiously awaiting its return.  As usual, Flex support (this time from Dudley and Katie on the phone) was super - friendly and helpful.

So, went and grabbed the 3000 out of the closet thinking I would "rough it" for a couple of weeks.  PowerSDR was still on my machine, and the set up went without issue.  Took awhile to get used to the different GUI again, but what hit me right away was that this was still one dang good radio!  Really glad I kept it - will make the wait for the 6700 pretty easy.

Thanks for the super support, Flex.

I kept my 5000 for the same reason. Enjoy Power SDR.

There is a 12-step support group for Flex owners who become separated from their radios for whatever reason.  Check the phone book for the schedule of meetings close to you.
