6600M V2.28 upgrade question

I have upgraded to the new V2.28 Smart SDR both on the desktop and on the 6600M. I see the new SPLIT button and ability to see the S-Meter reading in dBM on the desktop when using that but not on the 6600M screen when using it without the PC SDR. My software version on the 6600M is V2.2.8.40.  Just curious if these two upgrades were also intended to be on the M version screens. Thanks.... Jeff Schwartz / ki0kb

Jeff - I don't know about the S-meter on the M display, but the "split" has always been there on the Maestro - if the B slice is turned off, just hit the TX button on the right side of the front panel and it will open automatically 1 KHz above and with the transmit enabled on B slice.  (for CW and Digital - for SSB it will open 5 KHz above.)  Gerald showed me that after I thanked him in person at Xenia for adding the "quick split" function to the non-M models on SSDR.  Hope this helps on one of your questions.

Thanks Duane, I did realize the TX button would split it for CW and SSB and figured that was all I ever needed in that regards. I just wanted to make sure that my upgrade went as planned and that the lack of the new split "button"  and new S meter dBm function missing from the M version screen was intended not to be there as opposed to me messing up my upgrade in some fashion. Glad to help where I can - I don't know about the S-meter dB vs S-units question.  I'm sure someone knowledgeable will respond!

Jeff the S meter to dbm change is only available when running ssdr for windows on a computer it is not available on the standalone M screen either the 6400M or the 6600M with upgrade v2.2.8. I was hoping for it standalone also.

Thanks much Wayne, that's all I really needed to know. Just wanted to make sure that I hadn't goofed up my update install.  Jeff
