Can you provide some details on this switch, like a link to the manual, and then we can do some further research.

Hi Steve

To connect the Flex Radios with the Hamplus Switch and controllers you need to use a USB to RS-232 converter.
Flex Radios do not have an RS-232 port but have the CAT that is available in the USB port.
You should use one of the converters listed by the Flex Radio manufacturer.
All Hamplus Controllers and Switch use RS-232, CI-V or BCD ports for communication with the Radios.
If you have any further questions please let me know

Thanks and 73,

Hi Steve

Yes, he is correct.  You will have to make up a cable to go from the DB9 on the Flex RS232/USB adapter to their cable.  http://cart.flexradio.com/USB-to-Serial-adapter-for-the-FLEX-6000-series_p_1002.html

It looks like the Elecraft cable is close.  You might have to swap pins 2 and 3 (TXd and RXd) to make it work.   If you plug it in and it works, great.  If not, just swap those 2 wires.  You will also have to check the sex of those connectors (I didn't look too close).

You may want to ask him if they can make up a Flex cable for you since they have all the hardware and they have done every other vendor.
