6400M ATU Installation

Rod KI7CQ
Rod KI7CQ Member
Just received the ATU for my 6400M.  I took the top cover off but can't figure out where it goes.

Are there installation instructions for this ATU? There aren't any in the Downloads section.

Thanks.

Rod

I have taken my flex-6400 apart and have some pictures for you.

1: Used #8 Torx to remove all screws for bottom, including the feet.
2: On the right, looking from the front, there is a  metal plate
          just above the PA.
3 : Remove the 4 screws, one is the back.
4:The 2 open male connectors near the back of the PA , plug the
longest coax with the  straight connector to the left side  and
short one to the right side connector. Feed through the hole
first, do not grab the coax or pull on it. it takes little pressure
        to insert the connector.

    image metal chassis.
5: Plug the ribbon cable into the Pa board first, on the right side of the picture.
6: **** down the ATU metal frame to the unit and then
attach the ATU with 4 screws.
7 Plug the coax and ribbon cables.

I hope this helps and my direction are not confusing, good luck.
